Our Philosophy on Education

We approach education the way we experienced it in the 80s and 90s.  Back to basics, learning critical thinking skills, focusing on discussions instead of memorizing facts, and not being "taught to take a test".  We want to educate a generation of students who go into the world ready to live and think independently, and challege themselves to be better world citizens.

Our school culture is built on a circle of trust.  Parents trusting the teachers to educate responsibly.  Teacher trusting the students to learn responsibly.  Students trusting the parents to set them on a path to success, even if the path is nontraditional.  We are parents, too, and we want to see your children succeed just as much as you do.

We operate on a safe space policy.  We will not judge a personal life choices, and we will protect all students from discrimination in our school.  We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, cheating, or abuse, for teachers, students, and parents.
